Lady Gaga Announces New Companion Album to Joker: Folie à Deux: “Harlequin”

Exciting news for Little Monsters and film fans alike! Yesterday, Lady Gaga announced the release of a brand-new companion album titled *Harlequin*, inspired by her role as Harley Quinn in *Joker: Folie à Deux*.

*Harlequin* will feature 13 tracks, with titles like “Smile,” “The Joker,” and “That’s Life.”

Interestingly, Gaga has previously mentioned that she taught herself how to sing *badly* for her role as Harley Quinn. It’s also important to note that *Harlequin* is not the long-awaited seventh studio album fans have been eagerly awaiting. Earlier this month, Gaga teased that the first single from her upcoming album, *LG7*, will be released sometime in October. So while *Harlequin* promises to be an exciting project in its own right, the pop star’s next major musical chapter is still on the horizon.

Joker: Folie à Deux hits theaters on October 4th.
