Celine Dion made her triumphant comeback at the Paris Olympics on Friday Night. Performing on the iconic Eiffel Tower, she sang in French the Edith Piaf [pr: PEE-ahf] tune “Hymne a l’Amour” at the Summer Olympics opening ceremony.
Dion shared at Instagram (quote) “I’m honored to have performed tonight. So full of joy to be back in one of my very favorite cities. Most of all, I’m so happy to be celebrating these amazing athletes, with all their stories of sacrifice and determination, pain and perseverance.”
