“Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” is based on the popular series of children’s books, by Bernard Waber.
In the film adaptation, Constance Wu and Scoot McNairy from AMC’s “Halt and Catch Fire,” move to New York with their young son, they discover a singing crocodile living in the attic of their new home.
Shawn Mendes is Lyle (who doesn’t talk, outside of his songs). Javier Bardem plays his owner, and Brett Gelman from “Stranger Things” is the grumpy neighbor trying to get rid of Lyle.
