Halsey’s concert in Maryland this week was canceled due to severe flash flooding.
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for an area but unfortunately, the concert was called off after fans had already arrived.
Fans shared videos from the flooded arena including a clip of a rodent being kicked off the stage into the flooded pit in front of the stage.

Water was so deep at the front of the stage that fans were in it up to their ankles and were tweeting to be let out of the pit.

Halsey took to Twitter to apologize and promised fans the show would be rescheduled soon, but at another venue.
I promise I wanted to more than anything. But I couldn’t because it would have been SO unsafe if I went out there and people rushed the stage during or after the storm. A lot of things were out of my control tonight but I promise everything I COULD choose, I chose your safety. 🤍 https://t.co/dGhgDXd5YM

In better news, Halsey’s new song has finally been released by their label.
