Chris Harrison will not return as host for the next season of Bachelor in Paradise.
In February, Chris took a temporary break from the Bachelor franchise after the backlash erupted over him defending a contestant who had attended an Old South plantation-themed party.
Unlike the upcoming season of “The Bachelorette,” which premieres next week and will be hosted by Bachelor Nation alums, “Bachelor in Paradise” will have a cast of celebrity guest hosts.
Comedian David Spade is the first host announced.
The new season will premiere on Aug. 16.
Inside sources explain that no decision has been made at this time regarding whether Chris Harrison will remain #TheBachelor franchise’s permanent host going forward https://t.co/9qZcDDO9Ad
