America’s Got Talent featured a local man from Virginia Beach on Tuesday.

In an emotional performance, Dustin Tavel said the world changed when he became a father and he followed his touching store with a magic act in honor of his adopted son.

Judge Sophia Vergara called the audition “mesmerizing” before the judges unanimously voted for Tavella to move on in the competition.
