Who Won the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Fan Vote for 2025?

Here’s Who Won the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Fan Vote for 2025

The fans have spoken, and jam band legends Phish have topped the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s annual fan vote with an impressive 330,000 votes! 🏆🎶

Following close behind in the Top 5:

  • Bad Company – 281,000 votes

  • Billy Idol – 260,500 votes

  • Cyndi Lauper – 237,000 votes

  • Joe Cocker – 234,000 votes

Rounding out the rest of the Top 10: 6. Soundgarden
7. Chubby Checker
8. The Black Crowes
9. Mariah Carey
10. Joy Division/New Order

While the fan vote only counts as one ballot out of roughly 1,200, it still gives fans a voice—and a reason to rally around their favorite artists. It’s rare for a fan vote winner not to make the cut, with only one exception so far: Dave Matthews Band in 2020, though they were inducted four years later.

🎤 The final list of inductees will be announced during a special segment on American Idol this Sunday night. Stay tuned to see if Phish and other fan favorites officially join the Rock Hall ranks!
