FireAid Benefit Concerts Raise Over $100 Million for Wildfire Relief

Last week’s FireAid benefit concerts made a massive impact, raising over $100 million to support wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles. The funds came from donations, ticket sales, sponsorships, and merchandise sales.

The concerts streamed across 28 platforms for free, featuring performances from over 30 artists, including Green Day, Stevie Nicks, Lady Gaga, Pink, Billie Eilish, No Doubt, and even a surprise Nirvana reunion.

But the fundraising doesn’t stop there—a special 90-track benefit album, Good Music to Lift Los Angeles, is dropping this Friday for just 24 hours. The album will be available on Bandcamp.com starting at midnight Pacific for $20.25, featuring contributions from R.E.M., Death Cab for Cutie, Tenacious D, Modest Mouse, Interpol, and more. The collection includes new songs, covers, remixes, and demos, with all proceeds going toward relief efforts.

If you missed the concert, you can still catch it online and support the cause through music.
