Lady Gaga is gearing up to release her highly anticipated new album, LG7, and it promises to be a genre-defying exploration of music, life, and personal growth. Known for pushing boundaries, Gaga says this album will be no exception, blending, quote, “so many different genres, so many different styles, so many different dreams.”

Gaga shared in an interview with the LA Times that her new music would be “a celebration of a lot of the music that made me who I am.”

While LG7 ends in a “very happy place,” the journey to get there wasn’t easy. Gaga revealed that the songwriting process swept her away into dreams and memories of her past, including moments of regret and reflection. “Almost like a recollection of all these bad decisions that I made in my life,” she explains.

The lead single from Gaga’s seventh album, “Disease,” was released in October, and her duet with Bruno Mars, “Die With a Smile,” is also included on the tracklist.
