Meet Spice, a 15-month-old tripod looking for a forever home.

Spice arrived at Norfolk Animal Care Center as a stray that was likely hit by a car. She was suffering from a broken pelvis, a broken leg, and a severe bacterial infection. Spice went through several medical treatments; however, her leg could not be saved so it was amputated. She has been in foster for several months now and has shown so much improvement.

In that time she went from a spicy kitten to a quirky teenager. Previously afraid of people, she now demands attention…especially chin scratches.
