A “Sesame Street“ blooper from 1994 showing Julia Louis-Dreyfus accidentally cussing in front of Elmo has been going viral.
The clip shared on Reddit and Twitter has racked up millions of new views this weekend.
In the clip, Julia gets her line wrong and drops the S-word. Louis-Dreyfus then apologizes to the puppets, and Elmo exclaims that she “said a bad word”. Elmo then requests $5 for the swear jar . . . and Julia responds, quote, “You’re going to be a rich Muppet at the end of this day.”
Viewers praised Elmo and Zoe’s reactions to the “hilarious” moment. One user wrote, “I love how she’s actually talking to the puppets. It’s so sweet” while another asked, “Elmo shook down guest stars?”
