While some nominations were no surprise others have us scratching our heads. Here are our Top 5 snubs and surprises:
Snub: Lady Gaga was passed over for “House of Gucci” and her “A Star is Born” co-star was similarly snubbed for his role in “Licorice Pizza.”
Snub: “Just Look Up,” the hilarious song co-written by Ariana Grande for Netflix’s “Don’t Look Up” didn’t make the best song category.
Surprise: Kristen Stewart was left out in the cold for SAG Award and BAFTA nominations but scored an Oscar nod for her role as Princess Diana.
Snub: The Oscars showed no R.ES.P.E.C.T. for Jennifer Hudson as Aretha Franklin in Respect.
Snub: “Spiderman: No Way Home” There was a push to get the Marvel hit film nominated for Best Picture, but it didn’t make the cut. The movie and Shang-Chi both earned nods for Best Visual Effects.

Gaga really wrote an 80 page biography about Patrizia, got haunted by a possessed swarm of flies, studied animals, hired a psychiatric nurse and spoke with an Italian accent for 9 months only to get snubbed by the Oscars.. pic.twitter.com/rktq7URv1S
