Neil Patrick Harris had surgery on Tuesday after a sea urchin spine got caught in his hand while in Croatia two months ago, causing an infection. “Turns out it pierced through a tendon,” he shared on Instagram alongside a video of an ultrasound. “Well, thanks to the surgical talents of Dr. Dan Polatsch and his team, I’m officially urchin free and on the mend.” The 46-year-old actor, who was climbing cliffs when he tripped and “hand planted onto a sea urchin,” added, “Only drawback – having to wear this massive hand elevating contraption for the foreseeable future. All in all, though, I have to say: uni is still delicious.”
