In the interview, her voice quakes, and she explains that she is currently experiencing spasmodic dysphonia, a neurological disorder which affects her voice and is a side-effect of MS.
She also admits that she was relieved when she got the diagnosis saying, ““I had tears. They weren’t tears of panic, they were tears of knowing that I now had to give in to a body that had loss of control and there was some relief in that.”
