Dick has been on the radio in the Tidewater area since the days that AM was king with Top 40 radio giant WGH. He has entertained morning radio audiences in Hampton Roads for over 25 years. He also hosted the "Dick Lamb" daily variety show on WTKR-TV 3 for 8 years. He has met and interviewed many major TV and movie stars during his career. Dick has been a concert promoter along with hosting televised Miss Universe Beauty Pageants all over the country. He did play by play Basketball for ODU and William & Mary on radio and TV. He's been involved in broadcast ownership from Hampton Roads to Las Vegas and points in between. Dick is a big fan of UVA sports, boating, flying, exercise, eating at nice restaurants and staying healthy. He likes TV shows like "Commander in Chief", "West Wing" and "Desperate Housewives". One of his favorite movies is "As Good As It Gets" with Jack Nicholson. Dick's favorite WAVE artists include The Eagles, Bob Seger, James Taylor and too many to mention. Dick likes to relax by taking vacations to his favorite state other than Virginia...Florida. Commenting on his past experiences and being a husband and father of five, Dick said "I can't believe I'm still alive!"
